Boycott ‘Made in Mumbai’ & say ‘Jai Bihar’ on Phone

Raj has done it again. So Laloo Yadav called him a ‘mental case’ and the Maharashtra Government arrested him. Is it enough? Nooooooooo.

Raj Thackeray and his men deserve stringent treatment; their acts need to be deprecated by everyone.

I am surprised why the Mumbaikars are silent over the Chhota Thackeray’s open goondagardi !! Doesn’t their silence reflect support for Raj’s mindless acts !!!

Why can’t their integrity be questioned as well? Is Raj actually ruling the streets or one of the Mumbaikars is carrying sticks and targetting North Indians?? Is Raj actually beating the innocent people or one of them hounding and terrorising the North Indians???

Why people from Bihar and other northern Indian states be targeted in Maharashtra, especially in Mumbai? The recent attacks on examinees from Bihar has crossed limits. We can’t sit idle at our homes, now. We ought to adopt all possible, legal and reasonable means.

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s silence is not understandable. I can not talk on his behalf, as he is a politician. But, I can certainly speak on behalf of my fellow Biharis.

May I therefore appeal to my people from Bihar to boycott all products Made in Maharashtra. This must include Bollywood Movies. And listen, when you pick your phone, please do not say ‘Hello’. Instead, say: “Jai Bihar”.

  2. Boycotting anything that is made in mumbai is not good for our unity. I belong to Allahabad (Uttar Pradesh) but I have been living in Mumbai since childhood. I know how does it feel whey they call us ‘bhaiya’ (which otherwise is a very respected word in Hindi) to humiliate us.

The biggest problem with these GHATISH it that they think people from Uttar Pradesh and Bihar are good for nothing.

I have seen so many of my friends taking it easily when they use bad words from us. But I can’t take it easy. I have a plan in mind. I have dreams of a prosperous Uttar Pradesh and a growing Bihar. From my part I am very much impressed with people of Bihar except few things which need to be looked into (for both UP and Bihar). People from Bihar and history of Bihar really inspire me (I am not writing it here just to appease somebody). Whenever I feel low I read history of Bihar. I like the fighting spirit of you guys. Really from my bottom of heart I pray to God that I be born next in Bihar.

Here what I want to say is why we are following same thing! Why we need Jai Bihar or Jai UP. We are not like GHATIS. We can not dissolve our national image. We are Indians and would remain so. But remarkable point is we lack regionalism. Our history books speak less about our own states’ past/history. They speak only national history. I studied in Maharashtra from childhood, the history subject here till 8th standard is full with only Maratha/Shivaji’s history. When I grew up I did not know anything about Uttar Pradesh or Bihar. It was the GHATIS due to whom I started acquiring knowledge about our state and its history. I being student of Arts (had subject political science, history and social science) tried to analyze the reasons for our dismay.

Only try to look at solution. And solution lies in joining politics. Our achievements are taken by other states because our talented people live in other states and when anyone does something bad that is trowed to Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. We need to change this. There are so many examples. My brother lives in Austria. He is currently working at International Atomic Energy Agency. This is a very great achievement but this would be adsorbed by Maharashtra and they would call him his lad. But if he would do something wrong there, next day Indian media and so called GHATIS would say that he belonged to Uttar Pradesh. We have to change this.

We need to mobilize people living in other states and other countries to come back and invest in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar like Gujarat. We have to make them inveset in our states. That is the only solution. And every single person has to put efforts for this. We need to encourage our women/girls for education. Almost half of the population in both states is non productive. In today’s scenario education is the only means to success. So finally JAI HIND!

  3. I do agree with you Saroj. Also Maharastra is part of India only.

Software industry and other like wise firms has to be set up. That will generate employment and growth. Sugar mills are yet to be opened
