Kisan Swaraj Yatra is a pan-Indian outreach and mobilization effort to draw fresh attention of the nation to the continuing agrarian crisis in India. The Yatra, organized by ASHA (Alliance for Sustainable and Holistic Agriculture), a loose network of hundreds of organisations across the country, had set off on Gandhi Jayanti at Sabarmati Ashram and is reaching Rajghat (Delhi) at 11 a.m. on December 11.
There will be a day-long programme thereafter at the Gandhi Darshan, Rajghat on Kisan Ghat Road (near Satyagrah Mandap inside Gandhi Darshan) wherein self-reliant ecological farmers will be felicitated and those working on their issues will speak.
