My recent flights from New Delhi to Bengaluru and back were quite an experience.

While many faced turbulence on the Air India flight, I found it to be a delightful musical journey.

The return on Vistara was even better. At the heart of it all was the song “Tu Kya Jaane” from the movie ‘Amar Singh Chamkila.’ I listened to it on repeat.

I have been listening to this musical wonder ever since I heard it first. I fully immersed myself during the nearly three-hour flight. I did this on both occasions.

It is already my favourite song for my office commute! But You Know What! …I can’t recall its lyrics and can’t even sing along even after having heard the song hundreds of thousand times!

The song is pure and perfect. You must experience it in the real voice of Yashika Sikka. Her delivery resonates deeply. It makes the song feel incredibly moving. You better feel if you can.
