Randi Zuckerberg is raring for her first ever film role, Greater Voice learns. And she promises that the film will be a groundbreaking technology. Previously, Randi led marketing, politics, current events and non-profits for Facebook.
Randi, Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg’s sister, quit the social networking site job early this month to set up her own company, stating — “It is with mixed emotions that I announced my departure from Facebook … I spent the past six years working alongside some of the brightest, most wonderful people, and I had the chance to work on projects that changed entire industries. Now it is time for me to pursue my dreams and launch my own company. Thank you to everyone for the support, love and enthusiasm…”
And on Wednesday, she suddenly sprang this surprise: “Tomorrow, I begin filming my first ever movie role — and my scene is opposite an Academy Award-winning actress! … Exciting stuff!” Is this just the fun or a new beginning! “Got involved [with the film] because of the film’s groundbreaking technology,” she said. Greater Voice likes this. Do whatever, Randi… that pleases you, makes you happy!
