Several factors including truth and some powerful thinking, at times, inspire you, motivate you, energise you to do some extraordinary things that otherwise you would not even think of. For me one of those factors has been — Bob Dylan, the iconic man who walks on Earth.
Jusssssht imagine my excitement when I spotted ‘The Best Of Bob Dylan’ at a music rack; and therein the first song that I saw was my favourite – “Blowin’ In The Wind”.
This song for many years has been my theme song; it has been THE song that has increasingly influenced me to do my best to get the best. It has also turned me into a night owl on occasions, gearing me for work even when the world would sleep. True —
“How many roads must a man walk down
Before you call him a man? …
How many years can some people exist
Before they’re allowed to be free? …
How many times must a man look up
Before he can see the sky? …
Yes, ‘n’ how many ears must one man have
Before he can hear people cry? …
Yes, ‘n’ how many deaths will it take till he knows
That too many people have died?
The answer, my friend, is blowin’ in the wind,
The answer is blowin’ in the wind.”
Whenever I hear this song, and now that I have ‘The Best Of Bob Dylan’, I discover and would keep discovering my MEANINGS, the power, the strength, the confidence and the right spirit.
Yes – right now as I write this, the answer my friend is blowin’ in the wind; and my spread is immense. Also, I am ready for the loud clamorous shout, with love and music as my companions.
